The works including the design, supply and installation of split comfort cooling/heating systems. Existing direct gas fire tube heaters were relocated to permit the new floor installation.
The store remained open throughout the project. This created a number of challenges, firstly, the gas fired tubular heaters had to relocated. The works had to be undertaken without disruption to the store whilst ensuring the build programme was not compromised. Each tubular heater was in excess of 6 metres in length.
Specialist access equipment was utilsed to gain access and to support the heaters throughout works. Four gas engineers undertook the works
Condensers located on rear elevation. Protective cages were installed to prevent vandalism and protect against delivery vehicles.
